Dr. Joy Omeyi Omoha-Elakpa (PhD)
Financial Secretary
Dr. Joy is the CEO/Director Creative of Joysmart Events , a serial entrepreneur, a strategist event planner and designer with over 10 years experience in social and corporate events. She is very passionate about creating lasting experiences for her clients. She is an academia , researcher and a biostatistician with different publications in reputable journals across the globe. She is the founder of Joy Omoha Support Foundation, a Nonprofit Organization geared towards girl-child, youth and women inclusion in health , education and empowerment for the underprivileged in our society. She is graduate of Statistics and Computer Science from University of Agriculture, Makurdi . She bags two Masters degrees . A Master in Diaster Risk Management and Development Studies also an MSc in Statistics all from ABU, she also holds a PGD in Education from Usman Dan Fodiyo University Sokoto and Phd in Statistics. She is a Certified Event Planner and Designer, also a Certified Disaster and Safety Manager and a Member of different professional bodies such as CISON, PSSN ,IDMSS amongst others. Dr.Joy holds different leadership positions across various organizations such as ACEDA, SASSOGAPS and FUHSO etc. She is married and blessed with 3 lovely children.

Faith Okeoghene Essien
Assistant Welfare Officer
Faith Okeoghene Essien is the Assistant Welfare Officer of ACEDA, a certified Event Designer, Event Consultant, Trainer, and entrepreneur with eight years of experience in the events industry. She is a graduate of International Studies and Diplomacy from Benson Idahosa University, where she graduated with an excellent academic record. Faith is the Founder and CEO of Dutch and Doyenne Events, an Abuja-based event design and planning company that has grown to become one of the highly recommended event design brands in Abuja. Over the years, she has distinguished herself through creativity, attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences. Beyond designing remarkable events, Faith is passionate about training and mentoring aspiring event professionals, equipping them with the creative, practical, and business knowledge required to build sustainable careers and businesses within the events industry. As Assistant Welfare Officer of ACEDA, Faith is dedicated to promoting the association’s vision while supporting the welfare and well-being of its members. She is committed to strengthening relationships within the association, encouraging unity and inclusion, supporting members through significant moments and challenges, and helping to build a community where every member feels seen, valued, and supported. Her approach to leadership is rooted in service, empathy, excellence, collaboration, and genuine care for people. Through her work at Dutch and Doyenne Events and her service within ACEDA, Faith remains committed to excellence, innovation, mentorship, industry growth, and positively impacting the people around her.

Nkechi Martha Maduakor (Angel) is the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of ACEDA, a certified event designer, event consultant, and mentor. A graduate of Economics, she spent 15 years in the banking industry before following her passion for events. She is the Founder and CEO of CNI Events, proudly known as Abuja's most dependable event designers. Through her work, she is committed to excellence, innovation, and mentoring aspiring event professionals. As ACEDA's PRO, Nkechi is dedicated to promoting the association's vision, strengthening member engagement, and advancing professionalism within the event industry.
